The event was organized by the Russian expert community with the support of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Moscow State Linguistic University, the Institute of Asian and African Studies of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, speakers from Egypt, Morocco, Somalia, Sudan and other African countries.
Participants discussed the current challenges the African continent is facing today. Discussions covered a variety of aspects: a general assessment of relations between Russia and African countries, intercultural and interlingual communication, cooperation with pharmaceutical companies and medical structures of African countries on post-COVID rehabilitation. Special attention was paid to Russia’s experience in harmonizing interethnic and interreligious relations.
